Hygiene and protection

Women’s intimate area is a very delicate area. The mucous membranes of the vulvovaginal area are colonized by bacterial flora composed by Lactobacillus. The metabolism of these bacteria releases lactic acid which converts them into the responsible for safeguarding the correct pH in order to support the barrier function; which protects against other pathogenic bacteria and fungi, helping to maintain a healthy pH.

If there is an imbalance in the vaginal area, the Lactobacillus levels may be reduced in proportion, causing disturbances in the lactic acid balance and leading to the development of irritation and discomfort.

It is very important to maintain a daily hygiene with very soft specific products, with the right pH for every situation and the correct ingredients to help relieve and improve the health status of the intimate area.
